It’s been almost 12 years since I officially started working at the library! (February 8) Say, what?!

I went from an ODC job trial, to being hired as a page. Eventually I was promoted to library assistant, then we moved to the new library.

Covid-19 happened and I realized I didn’t need ODC and I finally let go of that security net.

I went through some family deaths on top of learning the ropes of a new computer system + joining a library system.

I believe it’s going on two years now being without ODC and I’ve learned I have some great natural supports in my coworkers and that I truly can thrive!

What an amazing journey!
