As I am a Christian, I do write about it’s importance to me and how it’s helped on my healing journey.

Because of God and His Faithfulness, I am becoming Katie Butterfly. As I walk with Him, He is making me new.

As a sinner I focus on my ugly past and darkness but He reminds me that through Him, I have been made new. The past is gone. I’m working and praying daily that I can see that and truly believe that. In that way I am still Becoming Katie Butterfly. I am coming out of the darkness and into the light – God’s light.

It is comforting to me to know that I am not alone on this journey. I have God and some wonderful family & friends on my side. I am never truly alone as the devil wants me to believe.

With my Savior, Jesus Christ, I am a New Creation. Praise the Lord.
