Porcupine Mountains Wilderness State Park

“Wilderness – where humans are visitors that do not remain.”

If I could paint, this would about sum up my trip. It was peaceful, good family time and definitely an adventure I’ll never forget! We hiked 12 miles in the muddy yet gorgeous terrain. The scariest yet most adventurous part was coming to my the river crossing that was nearly impassable. We put our heads together and figured out a way to cross it safely.

It was a get-a-way that I really needed!
