While the last couple years I have participated as a survivor, this year I’ve really taken steps to own my story and do things to raise awareness and let other survivor knows they aren’t alone.
Last month, as I’m sure my readers saw, I had contacted my local Center and I went on the radio and verbally told my story on the radio. It was scary, but yet very empowering. And since speaking up, I don’t want to stop. I feel the world needs my voice.
This month I’ve been actively speaking up and raising awareness on sexual assault.
